Types of Triangles - Medium
In year 7 and 8 you learned that a truss involves some
combination of triangles.
Triangles may be classified by their sides:
equilateral - all side lengths are equal
scalene - no side lengths are equal
isoceles - 2 side lengths are equal
And triangles may be classified by their angles:
acute (all angles are acute)
right (one angle is right)
obtuse (one angle is abtuse)
equiangular (all angles are equal)
Task 1
After becoming familar with the ways in which triangles can be described, classify the triangles in the worksheet.
